Is this a variable vane one or just a standard wastegate turbo?

The V denotes vnt. Come on the later 1.6hdi iirc.

Just checking it wasnt a typo yeah be expensive to get if that's the turbo off the 110 1.6.. they're always failing

Yeah it is off the 110 DV6. The 90s don't use a VNT and the later 112's use a smaller turbo oddly. Good luck finding a used one in serviceable condition...
