Hello,

The transmission fluid on my mum's ancient 306 needs replacing. Can someone please advise what the Peugeot part number is of the original genuine transmission fluid. I would prefer the original Peugeot fluid but if its not available then can you advise of the best 3rd party manufacturer fluid.

The vehicle is:

Peugeot 306 1360cc Manual Petrol (2000)

Many thanks!

Thanks and sorry - as you can see I'm new to this forum!
lol nice one cully Big Grin So when should it be changed Big Grin
no need to apologise we were all new once Smile
Is this the right one for the year of the vehicle or is there only one manual transmission fluid for all vehicles? I found it on eBay:

Will 2 litres be enough? I was just going to ask the garage to drain and renew rather than flushing and renewing.

that is expensive if it is for 1x litre bottle

should be about £8 / litre

or can be picked up from a pug dealer, quoting Tom's new part number 9730 AG

you'll want 2 litres in total to renew
its the correct part number Wink it doesn't state quantity though
and the box takes 2 ltrs from dry
Retails at £16.54 for 2 litres from dealers or Total oil is £14.99 delivered from link below
