French car show 2015
this falls right for my shifts and the wife is interested in attending too
but she would like to hotel if were staying over night

so my plans are hotel Friday and sat night local,
were looking at track time too which session is everyone looking at?
I'm considering the session 2 two hour open pit

anyone else considering a hotel?
or any recommendations for local accommodation?
Tempted by a 2 hour open pit but last year seemed to be on it for very little amount of time before being taken back off again to go que up
Would do camping though rather than hotel
I'm thinking about the middle of the 3 2 hour open pit sessions.
Hmmm. Not booked yet as waiting to see...

But liked the idea of early bird for a quiter track!?
wont be quiter as the tracks limited to 20 cars
But if theres only 15 cars to go out!?!
Nah Piggy they probably sell 40 tickets for it and only let 20 out at a time so you have to hope enough people break down or give up nice and early on in the 2hours so you can then get a decent amount of the time on the track.
Is that why we had to keep coming off every 3 laps last year?
Last year I went out morning and afternoon, they were both good hardly no waiting at all, and I came in and went out a few times. Obviously could be different this year, depending on how many they sell.
Yeah the thing with combe is if you have a 'off ' is usually quite a spectacular one, remember 2 years ago someone rolling they xsara behind me right at the start of the 2 hour open pit so ended up waiting a good 45 minutes for that to clear.
I thought the 2 hour track times were quite good and good value for money. Wasnt too much queuing. Reason we kept coming was.... because people kept coming off!
It's good value for money if we can stay on but last year was silly the amount people were coming off.
I think I counted how much time we actually had on and it was about 45 mins
think id be happy with 1 hour out of the 2 on track Wink
Yeah still miles better that any of the forge action/spring action days for pricing

Dunno about my bro and his missus, but if we attend, me and Lou will be looking for a hotel as well, as she'll be quite heavily pregnant by then, so REALLY isn't up for tenting! [emoji38]
The one I stayed at guys was amazing! Beef eater right next door and wasn't too far to travel to the show and back

Don't even think it was that to be honest mate, so many Saxo wankers running out of talent and closing the track!
^^^this or lady gardens with cars so shit they were breaking down on the out lap. I cant believe these people think their cars are fit for the track.
