Well I manned up Tuesday night!

Haven't been in a 306 or a ZX for a while but been looking all the time, been wanting a late low mileage phase 3 that i could xud but they are few and far between.

So Ruan linked me to an add on Monday, i messaged the seller straight away as i was really interested. It had loads of interest as expected and i dont think it would have been around until the weekend, so Ruan offered to take me to go and get it Tuesday night at 7pm after i finished work. Oh just the 90-100 miles away lol, got there about 9pm and checked it over. Shook his hand and drove it away!

Well i say drove it away....taxed it and insured it in Ruans Volvo in a lay by before driving it back. Could i get internet on my phone? Could i f*ck! Its so hard for a buyer to legally take home a car.

Anyway....

Its an early 1994 S16 in Cossack grey  Heart
Its done 114000 miles with 15 service stamps, having done only 550 miles since its last MOT with no advisories
Blue fleck seats and blue carpet
Completely standard, never been modified

It has a couple of issues:
Needs an engine mount or gearbox mount
Acav isn't working unfortunately
Few smaller things, mainly tidying up!

Its just a fun second car, mainly want to keep it clean and enjoy it! Hope to sort Acav or think about other options.

Comments welcome Smile

Worst photo ever haha
NICE love a Cossack. Get some pics up. Defiantly not a phase 3 though is it

Lol photo didn't load on phone untill id typed that. Still looks awesome. Just keeping it standard
Yeah get the avac working again a s set it up as per my how to.

Buy my group n s16 engine mount buffers and press pack

So wish I still had mine but getting Very hard to find an s16 now
Looks good, love the colour!
At first glance thought it was the v6 cossack on Gumtree

Lovely colour and getting super rare now Smile
Love this! Think this may of been the 1 i seen on facebook. Was pretty cheap really.

Prob 1 of my favorite colors the 306s come in. Will look forward to seeing what you do with it. Best of luck getting hold of diaphragms if you need them for the AVAC set up. Peugeot dont keep have them any more. I managed to get hold of 1 from somewhere as they still had 1 in as old stock
Just need Ruan to pull his finger out his arse and get the nanstone on the road.

That's the bad boy , can some one put that in the guides area
Hehe I linked Ruan to this and told him to find someone to buy it because it was so cheap! Id have had it myself if it was local!
Awesome. i linked Niall and Grant to this!
Ah i saw this on facebook and wanted alot, just haven't got anymore room for another car Sad

Glad it made it to the forum though
Very nice!
Did the s16's originally come with those wheels?
This isn't the one that was on Facebook... I saw that, was £350 in Warrington and had no Mot. This was on Gumtree and more money but its alot nicer!

It does but lets face it mine wont hurt for another few years Tongue
Nice work, can't wait for a passenger ride in this Smile

My first 306 was a mk1 in cossak grey (ahem, cough cough 1.6 8v)
Few photos
you might be able to get that on classic insurance now, as its 20 years old now. Got to say most of the phase1 boys should be looking at this route now.
She a beut mate Smile

What interior does it have red stitching type or half leathers ?
Interior pics Smile
thumbs up for the blue interior
Is that one is the really early ones that did t have the keypad?
Yes, no keypad. Amazingly the central locking still works off the button!
That's a very early one then as most had a keypad

Have you got airbags?
As mine didn't have them
