new to the 306 scene and also the HDi engines had vag diesels and stuff before this
are these easy enough to change...
one of mine needs the seal doing and was wondering if its a at home job or am i better to get a diesel specialist to do them?
any special tools needed ?
Pretty simple job mate unless its stuck in the head. In that case you can rebolt it and then bring it to someone.

Just loosen and remove fuel lines, remove the leak off pipes and undo the clips, then they should come out. May need wiggling or persuading though.
Much easier than removing PD injectors if you've tried that before. lol

I've never come across a HDi injector that I couldn't remove yet, some need a bit of persuasion but all come out, even ones that have covered nearly 300k lol.
As above, needs some patience, but they always come out. Virtually trouble free compared to a lot of modern CR injectors and heads. Make sure the injector seat is very clean before putting new washers in, else it won't seal properly. Also, if it's been leaking for a while, you might find the seat needs recutting as the escaping gases will erode a channel in it.
If you get the engine nice and hot before you do it I find that they come out a lot easier. And as poodle says it's worth reseating the head, you can buy the tool from ebay for about £20 it's a handy tool to have.
