Holy thread revival!! In these lockdown times I figured people might like a recommendation for something good to watch. I think this is one of the best auto repair channels on Youtube.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtAGzm9...ko1PBhzTHA

...along with this one. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR73yN7...41g2qlfRrg

The diagnostic stuff is what I really enjoy, but you can learn stuff from the spannering vids too. Granted, South Main Auto only deal with American stuff but the principles are the same, regardless of the model. It shows that on the more modern stuff you often need some expensive kit (scopes & the like) to make a final diagnosis, but interesting nonetheless. It also shows you can do a lot with test lights, noid lights, & a multimater.

Happy watching & come back with any recommendations if you have them. Cheers & stay well.
Eric O is amazing, great diagnostic mind. Not so great diagnostics to be found on Neutral Drop lol, Watch Wes Work, J.C. Smith projects, Jonathan w, Puddin's Fab Shop, Mortske repair all cool american channels & if you're into dry humour and sarcasm as well as random old electronics/some car stuff and another diagnostic genius you could check out Shango066.

just thought I'd re-revive this one and plug a few channels that keep me semi-sane... Never laid claim to have all my marbles even before lockdown the third.
One of my friends has a good Youtube channel, he's been working on a turbo K24 with a BMW DCT gearbox into an RX-7.

used to be watching all the roadkills until motortrend made their own network and it became paid.
Good to hear from you Sam. Hope you've been keeping well. I subscribe to a few of the channels on your list but there are also a few new ones to check out - ta very much!

You're not a Hoovies Garage guy then?
The Late Brake Show is worth checking out too.
mmmm car trek is slightly painful. Hoovies garage is annoying, even tavarish and b is for build starts to grind my gears a bit. I think its the density of the content. Not a lot happens and its a lot of talking and discussing plans that then really dont happen.
