Just wondering if any of you can identify this wire for me and where I should fix it to.



It comes off the starter and then has a connection which I think goes on the alternator but there's already one like it attached.
It's not an earth is it?

Literally no idea and I don't want to put the manifold on and find it goes somewhere I can't reach then.

I should add it's on a Rallye

It does go to the alternator.

Should of labeled it all before removal! lol
Iirc its the pos connection on the alternator that has 2 rings on it. It will only fit on one of them.
