It's on the gti6 forum (yes that one) and fair play it's a proper bit of kit

will be adding next ,carbon bonnet ,carbon doors and carbon hatch as have all moulds for panels , and seriously thinking maxi style kit and wide tracking

just needs final trimming
made of carbon fibre so nice and light , just got to fit hatch hinge section and bond lexan screen in

today removed inner door frame from mould , so just needs trimming
going to de mega weight saving on doors
also laid fibre glass mould for bonnet hinge mounting ready for carbon bonnet ,so can mount on original hinges instead of 4 bonnet pins

hi sam , wish I new as I am still on crutches since june ,as snapped leg in 3 place and cant pin or screw due to position of brakes , so got to mend naturally , hoping to be able to drive again by june ,touch wood

This is awesome stuff! Looks like a great car. Do you need any special equipment to do the carbon fibre panels? I didn't realise you could make them yourself from scratch..

not really ,as long as you've got panel moulds

will weigh car on scales as soon as have totally took as much weight out as can , theres a fair few kgs been remove now but not sure on overall weight .but will post on forum as soon as done ,thanks wayne
