Anybody have any idea what the difference is between Delft Blue and Rhodes Blue? My pant code is KMPD and that's the colours it says on internet. Mines a metallic paint if that's helps?

i'd like to someones response to that question " what the difference is between Delft Blue and Rhodes Blue? " ermm a different shade of blue
?
pictures would be of use mate.
It says its the same colour for the code, didn't know one would be metallic or something mate.
pretty sure thats china blue pal..
there was a thread a while back about a random blue colour.
I've seen others and they are China blue, think ill just get a tin of that and see how similar it is
If your sure thats the paint code then get it mixed to the paint code and you can't really go wrong.........if your not sure about the paint code check it on the plate in the boot
I was told to check it on the sticker behind the passenger strut, ill take pics of both and put them on here
KMPD will be the paint code, but it's Definately not China. China is pearlescent, Rhodes/Delft is metallic. If the paint code for Rhodes and Delft is the same, I'd be inclined to say they're the same colour.
Ok thanks a lot mate, just wanted to check incase there was a difference somehow
I don't think so. As I said, its defo not China, my last 306 was China, not that I can remember the paint code now, but it's not yours!

I might be wrong here but I have a feeling the the ph3 china was pearlecent and the ph2 china was just metallic............
and why the plate in the boot doesn't have the paint code on is just strange, some consistency would be nice Peugeot
as said KMPD will be your paint code though so jet get some mixed at a local automotive paint supplier and they will match it to the car to be sure
Ok
be going for a trip into town laters then...

Just go armed with the paint code and the car so they can check it against swatches
here looks a good shout from a quick google just depends if they will mix paint or not -

Yeah, can't really go wrong then, cheers mate, gonna try one place where I got some pint for my bike, cost 16 quid for a 400ml tin, will see if they charge much more for it being metallic, if its too much ill be going to the place you found or at a push I might try halfrauds

The ph2 colour is still called China but has a different paint code to the ph3 china if my memory serves me correctly

Fair play, if you know somewhere you have used before then all should be good, metallics shouldn't be any different in price TBH either mate
When I got some for bike he asked if its metallic cause there water based paints, hopefully it won't be...
Just to clarify this, KMPD is Rhodes Blue:
Pencil - 986284
Aerosol - 9860E4
Alpha Code - Either KMPD or M03P
Edit: Delft Blue is a different colour, it has different colour codes.
Cheers mate, that's gonna make it a hell of a lot easier

Metallics aren't water based, all the new paint colours are water based because they have to be but you can get base coat in metallic or solid colours and pearls
Oh right, if he only does it in water based ill look elsewhere then, said have a silver base with transparent top coat then lacquer on top
100% china on ph3 is different to ph2. ph3 is pearl, ph2 is mettalic.
Yup, ph3 pearl china is EGED......
