All but early Phase 1 cars had DPF's fitted.
They were regually referred cats on older vehicles. Dpfs phrase is now used for modern ones that regen. Regardless they are the same thing.

No, no 306 had a DPF.

Later XUDs and HDi's had cat's, just like a petrol. You're not allowed to remove those either though. Tongue

I didnt mean they were the same thing in working prinicple. I meant it was the same thing in eyes of the mot test.
I think they only started putting cats on DTs in 97 maybe late 96, doubt you'd ever get done for a phase 1 with a decat, yet another reason for phase win Big Grin
I think the phase 1 exhaust system was slightly different because it didn't have a cat in it???
