Looking for a timing belt kit and water pump for my GTI 6 (Car was registered 28/04/1998 and is on an R plate) theres quite a few different ones that iv found on Sutton Auto Factors, which one would I need?
I think its CT955K1 but wanted to double check

Are the water pumps all the same as I can only find one type on there.

Thanks
They aren't kits despite being listed as so. A kit is going to set you back about £80 plus a pump on top of that. Good quality kits would be Dayco, Gates and Contitech.
Pump, genuine pug ones show up on eBay often or you can go for first line or Circoli imo.

Do not try and cut costs on this. its just not worth it!
Bit confused!
Its down as a Contitech timing kit @ £55.76, so this is no good?

Im not trying to cut costs, Im just wanting to make sure I get the right parts for the car.

Dayco kit here, this any good?

they are kits, contitech will be fine, those prices are about right for aftermarket bits.
Original Pug Kits are dirt cheap, Even cheaper generally than factor ones and I wouldn't use anything else,
how do you figure that out miles? they're £120 !!
You need to check if you have the auto tensioner setup (137t) or manual tensioner (136t)
if you don't know the history of your car it could have either.
You need a trade account, Different car I know but, OE belt kit and Pump was £55.00 all in
