Just wondering whats the biggest tyre width that can be run on standard (cyclone) wheels?

I have a set of 4 205/60/15 tyres here that i want to put on for the winter (cold weather tyres) But i dont want o go to the hassle of having them fitted to find they're scrubbing the arches or struts...

Thanks
Matt
I found 185/65/15s to touch the bottom of the strut cup...if that helps!?
Hmm i shall have too investigate, suppose its only a tenner too gamble if i have a pair fitted and they dont fit!
The 205 width should be fine, but I'm dubious about the 60 profile in that size - sidewall will be 15mm or so taller compared to a 195/55R15 and I suspect will foul the strut as Piggy mentions.
More than likely scrub the rear arch if your beams even slightly leaning lol...
I've had 195 65 on a ZX and they rubbed like buggery, I would say no chance to a 205.

a 195 50 or 185 60 would be fine, 185 is marginally cheaper too.

Useful little tool, I reckon they might be OK..

Had 20mm spacers on the rear when i bought it and it only rubbed with a full car..

Yeah i got some 195/65/15 here and they seem to have a larger rolling circumference than the 205/60's when placed on top of one another.

Now thats a useful little tool! Looks like they might just fit, aslong as they clear the strut on the front they might be ok. Cheers jonny Smile
Matt I'll have you know that scrubbing on the back with the 20mm spacers added 40bhp.

Good day to you sir!
