does the mk2 grill fit the mk3 ?, i need one as mine has split and there's one on ebay that would be ideal...but its mk2,

Yep, exactly the same part. Only the ph1 is different.

EDIT: Assuming you are talking about the part directly below the bonnet, not the grill in the bumper?
