my 2000 306 hdi stage 1 is for sale, the cars done 165100 miles, engine has covered 75000 miles, currently running stage 1 have stage 2 map ready to load on.
Good points:
Good strong engine
Water pump and cam belt changed when changed engine at 164000 miles
Front mount intercooler
White cyclone alloys in reasonable condition
Changed injectors to later type so there quiet
Straight through exhaust with mid to back box conversion and decat
Bad points:
Body work is ok, few scrapes, minor dents on front bumper and bonnet and n/s wing
Drivers seat has split, but been re sown up
Advisory on MOT about drivers side track rod end
I suspect that it has had a GTI steering rack fitted at some point because there is more lock to the right that the left, but its not noticable unless parking in a tight spot.
Comes with MPPS cable and software and a cd with a custom Stage 1 and 2 map from Mr Whippy also come with standard map.
The car is taxed till end of october 2014 and mot'd to mid march 2015
Everything else works well, drivers door loom is fine and remote central locking and 2 keys work fine.
Please note this car was a cat d at 18000 miles and was repaired by a garage for previous owner
Looking for £400 just to take it away, have just got a company vehicle so no need for it any more, hopefully someone will have fun like i have!
