the arse end covered in soot after a few hours spirited driving!

mk1 with the mk2 body kit, so not 'as' poorly built as the later post-2004 ones

its the 2.0TD L-series engine, no HG issues like the petrols Smile was originally 115bhp but has been tweaked to 160bhp through SDI injectors, a remap, full exhaust system and the boost wound up to 20psi

*awaits posh rover comments*

cheers Smile
Rov....MG frienddd ! Big Grin
Nice though, thought it was a 180 for a second. How are they to drive?

does yours have the rover sill badges too Big Grin

haha sadly not a 180 Sad it pulls really well, never driven a standard one (mate has a similar spec 45 td) but feels more refined than my stage 1 HDi. didnt think it was much faster than it but i got back in the 306 today and it felt... slow Big Grin

they handle very nicely for a big car too which is one thing i had worried about
Bloody hell, that ain't subtle!

The smaller petrol engines are, but the ZS180 with the V6 is not infamous for HG failure. It is based on the same engine used in the freelander.

At least you won't be losing it in a carpark. lmao
That's a lot of yellow!!
cracking R400! these are the best ones to drive compared to the posh rovers, as they used the R400s in the btcc, so weather you can still get the btcc data I don't know. As the rover sport network has bit the dust many moons ago, also I don't think these even compete in the mg live either.
Also I have heard that the Rover dervs if remapped can give the vvc engine a run for its money too!
Nice, very sleeper

Undecided
Tasty. Had a blue ZT-T diesel for a while and one of my earlier cars was a 414 SLi (in old man beige) so I've got a lot of love for MG Rover.
The colour is very loud. As is the spoiler...

Bet it goes well though!
As you know I fuking love the new whip

Had a lot of money spent on it.

Have to take me out in It see what it's like previous owner liked to granny shift :p

The strip on the floor? mine was silver and i covered it in barbon bibre wrap
Mmmm might need to keep an eye out for a diesel one as a daily Tongue Especially a mk2, they look so much better than the earlier ones

Ignore procta, the vvc engine is unstopable nothing can compare, nope nope nope

Shame yours has less power than this dirty derv though eh? Tongue lol
I ..u.oh Sad
Sorry man! <3
lol
Looks quite nice tbh, very yellow! Shouldn't be too easy to lose in a car park. lol
Hahaha I see the colour is loved by everyone Wink

Think that's the main reason the owner got quite little interest for a car that those into the MGR scene would probably be more into if it was a 'normal' colour Big Grin
Like it dude! FairPlay, be careful where you park this one....

lmao

i know mine has, only thing that's keeps it entertaining is fixing rust holes and it been light like a go cart, Steve cannot play that card as his is far to heavy and his engine is practically bit the dust or something, where with this, the car will move! torque and boost! i don't know why steve wont take note, someone tell him will they!
me and my sister have been out in it, both said the same thing, feels like a 306 haha.
Mate had one of these in grey, just went over the water back to the mainland too.

I had a zr in xpower grey aswell, were two nice motors and let me tell you these engines can take a LOT of abuse Wink

Are sharp with sdis and a good map, good info on mg-rover.org about them.

You wont have the bcu issues etc with it been mk1, had it still got mk1 electrics as some had mk2 stuff towards the end. Mine was a mk1 zr with the mk2 115 ecu and round fob. If this is the case be wary of the bcu and all it controls lol!

Good luck with it, has the roose hoses too which are a good upgrade!
