Looking to change my ecu to a stage 1 ecu,
What do i need to get so it works?
Ecu,thing under ignition anything else?

why not just get yours remapped?

I dont want to take the chance of bricking the ecu,
And would find it easier changing ecu

The chances are pretty damn low if you take to the mapper.

Im the wrong side the water to go to the mappers on here, and it will cost more buying the cable and the map compared to a ecu,

Fair enough then. I think you just need the ecu and bsi. Not 100% sure though.

Buy ECU with same S/W H/W numbers as original, send to Pro Steve for de-immob and re map, job jobbed.

Think he means hes going to buy a pre-mapped ecu

I would just upload the map yourself using the correct cable, the chances of bricking the ECU are slim if you follow the proper procedure.

I must of uploaded 50 odd maps with no probs up to now...

the things you need are ecu, chip in the key ,bsi.
