Hello,

I'm new to all Peugeot Cars, just bought a 2001 Peugeot 306 Meridan. And it's been running really well. But today while I was driving it, the Engine Management light came on and is stopping on.

Wondered if there's any common faults that could be causing that. As I think that its going to be an expensive garage stay for the car.

And is it worth buying a cheap diagnosis prob? If so which one?

Thanks in advance

Luke
Hi there, welcome to the forum Smile Is it a HDi? Where abouts are you based? There are plenty of members all around the country, someone local to you might already have a code reader and be willing to help.
Thanks for the welcome, I'm in Clacton Essex.

Sorry for not stating earlier, its a petrol 1.4 Never realised that Peugeot have a 1.4 diesel version. As you can tell I'm a bit of a novice where cars are concerned. Undecided
Had the car tested, they found three faults. Ended up having to Change the Lambda Sensor, Coolant Sensor and the Ignition coil
