tbf you should have seen the megane rs cup beat a 370z round a lap on 5th gear, that proved hot hatches are not as bad as people make out

All cars on TV look slow, especially so on low grip surfaces. Too acclimatised to the F1 and in-car from the WRC...

This. If you had looked at the dials when the camera was in the saxo, it shifted and that was a saxo so slow In comparison.
