Can someone post a vid up of them accelerating to 60 on the flat please? (standard car if poss)

I keep moaning that mines slow, and people on here don't seem to think they are, so a comparison would be loverly.
12s 0-60 is about standard for the 306 Dturbo and HDi I believe. It's not a quick car from stock really.
Standard is pretty slow, get her mapped fella.
Here's a question - what's the 0-60 of a stage 1 and stage 2? I've never timed it....
Never tried with stage 2, but a decent stage 1 should be around 9 seconds to 60
Surely it depends on so many factors thats its going to change for everyone. How harsh of a tune, how healthy the rest of the car is, tyres, road condition, weather condition.
Yes, I guess you are right... be nice to see the ballpark though.
0-60s are completely pointless tbh. Depends so much on the pull away and gearchanges, my 0-60 would be several minutes longer than anyone elses in the same car lol. 30-70s are much more useful! And there are plenty of those on here/youtube.

And as for the OP, no-one says they are quick as standard, or even stage 1 tbh lol.
0-60 I never understand to be honest...

I achieve even the manufactuers 0-60 in a supercar would be tough in normal driving conditions...
as said, 30-60/70/80 is where its at in my mind, thats the zone we all use.

put up a video of yours, and we will laugh and comment Smile

cheers, will check that next to mine later Smile
Just fyi, piggys is a 2.1 xud running a vnt, so its not really relevant in here. Wink
^ Was thinking the exact same thing myself lol although it's an S not a V, no vnt Tongue /pedantic
Oh of course, he bottled the vnt didn't he. Wink
Keep your handbags to yourselves guys. Tongue
Who invited you in?? f*cking pushy ricers...
Yeeeaaahhhhhhh!!

Don't you have something to crash into? Tongue
Rofl
yeaaa, mines more like the estate haaa
Probably needs a new MAF then. Tongue
I managed 8.2s with my HDi at stage 1, with about 125bhp (or if we are using the un-conservative willy waving power figures we love these days, it was a 135bhp stage 1 tune Wink )

With stage 2 my car did it in 7.2s... (155bhp, or willy waving output, 170bhp) I could maybe have got it down to 7.1s with a slightly better launch. Wheel spin is obviously a big issue with stage 2 on the HDi 1st gear haha Big Grin

Not bad given it's three gear shifts for a HDi vs two for a GTi6...

I too don't think the 0-60 time is so relevant, just like a lot of metrics, but it's interesting none the less Smile

Dave
Id say a 1/4 mile says alot more than any bhp figure and even a 0-60.

It certainly does.

Terminal speed and time for 1/4m are one of THE best accelerative performance indicators full stop!

The Americans love their drag times and wheel horsepower figures, and for very very good reason... they are fantastically comparable.

In the UK we just love the @flywheel corrected bhp figures and really they are pretty useless for comparing.
