Well i thought it would be an idea to make a lil project thread
on a quiet sleepy morning on the 24th/10/2010 i went to pick up the Lovely Dtub off Ed Doe, after writing off my old car and hearing what was going on in the derv world it seemed like a good idea to see what the crack was about
Ed gave it a clean and this car became mine




you may have spied the fmic in there but it wasnt actually piped in when i got it (nor did it for another few months)
Just about a week after i got it the T2 turbo on there decided to shit itself all over the a27 so new turbo time!
then came the snow so a very cold turbo change..


compressor full of oil...

then decided to get on to ebay and get the fmic pipes and get that on


2/3 of eds car history at Curts camping meet

then started putting a bit of my own stamp on it with a few slight modifications
some TD pro race 1's...


more of leaving my mark ...

carbon effect boot lock badge... much better!

and how she stands atm..

Just needs a ph3 front end IMO... That'd finish it off.

I have a ph3 bumper in the garage i was going to selectivly smooth of some of it but funds have dried up atm
Plans were to be get the ph3 front bumper on and a bit of lows with some more red accents

were did you find the pro race ones if been looking for some for ages?

Good to see an official proect back up for this car!

Also I just had to smile at the fact that the engine still looks like its covered in the same 2 liters of used oil mixed with 10 years of grime / dust all over the engine / bay as it did back when it was down here

Some friggin good times were had at Darrens making this car epic win (as well as Ruans and Darrens!!)

Miss it a lot! still can't be a student forever I guess

Well dont come anytime to soon, theres a distinct lack of chronic boost around here at the moment, got my engine in bits, Ruans moved away, 205 hasnt got the supercharger finished fitting yet, transit has issues, its a bit of a fail...typical for any diesel around here during winter tbh!

Trouble is one of them has a slight buckle i think as the wheel vibrates a little. They will be on ebay before the day is out

However much they go for. Payed 250 for them but wont expect that back because im honest and will mention the slight vibration

Id be happy with like 150 for them

2 are bugets 2 are nankang ns2's but one of them has a puncture and yeah direct fit, no rolling of the arches either

Been on clones for a while :-) just wanted a smoother ride haha. Its very harsh on 205 40 17 profiles

liking the colour coordination with the plasmas, boost gauge and the HU! heater panel next?

Boost guage now lights up a choice of 7 colours lol but yeah blue is best
