Just finished putting the new engine and shinies in, it starts and theres no massive leaks, explosions, weird noises. Need to check the levels again tomorrow and tidy a few things up. Buts it lives, im so happy. Cant wait for this weekend to go see pro steve now.

Well done mate! New turbo on?
Thank you, yup turbo and fuel pump on. No more starting issues. All seems swell.
Well done mate, always feels good to actually fix something!
Biggest job ive done on a car, theres just loads to remember, nothing was overly difficult just job after job to do. Lol
I love that feeling after doing a big job and everything works. Always a few teething issues when I do something like that but usually fine. Well done mate.
Congrats. I agree on the great feeling, firing up mine after doing my first turbo change, was happy when it worked Big Grin
Amazing! Can i have a ride out when its all done!?
Its gunna take me a while before i get used to this clutch. Lighter thany standard one used to be.
Lighter?! Wow!
Congratulations dude, enjoy the high lol. Smile

Which clutch did you go for in the end? Think you need to update your project thread, needs moar pichurrs!

Helix, only people that would give me an actual figure when i asked what they would rate it to.

I dont even have a project thread, i suck at taking photos at the time. And i dont even have a project thread to put them in, done so much to it now.

Yeah theres a definite little pop feeling then your on/off the spring, going to be different
I bet you can wait to get it mapped! It should be pretty epic
Awesome, willl have to take a closer look next time i see you!
Great success! Now get some pics up! :p
Sweet... What turbo? Assume it's an r70 pump? Did you upgrade the lift pump too?

JP
Seans old ko3s hybrid, r70 and not yet ran out of time n money tbh. Its on the list though. Tbh it confuses me with lift pumps, havent really looked into them.
So, 180-190hp then. Will be sweeet!

I ran 189hp and 358lbft on a GT17 hybrid, a similar kind of size. I actually made a bit more power at the top end by messing around with a few other bits - but that was the best and most solid / repeatable number.

JP
Will have to wait and see, not looking for max power from it but a decent number thats fairly reliable.
its a pure buzz when a car fires up for you for the 1st time! now the fun starts!
Good work mate, this is why this forum needs a like button.
Rep will do haha
I'm so hard for this! And for you! You'll love the noise the screamer pipe makes. Its crazy good!! Specially in a big tunnel. People will hear you coming. Actually. Can I buy it back please?!

Excited about hearing your figures with the uprated pump too!
Is this still the turbo Brynllwynog2 was running before he went for the big VNT?

JP
