So I've replaced the 406.
With another one
Here's some pictures from the advert.
Very very happy with it so far, everything works as it should and it's a really nice place to be. And, for the first time, I has a sunroof, so I've been driving everywhere with that open and the heaters on
It's already mapped up, so about 140 or so, which is a very "comfortable" power figure (yawn). It's probably quicker than most stage 1 306's TBH, I've yet to confirm this but it feels fast enough.
Plans are to keep it mint, probably lower 40mm or so, and some new wheels when the time comes to change the tyres
Looks a minter dude!
Lots of toys too! Can you reach the sunroof controls ok?

I just stick the cruise control on and jack up the seat
Looks good! Must be odd though seeing one of Jimmy Savilles prey driving a car that my granddad would buy!
you old man!!
must be comfy mind. nice tourer.

Why, because displacement?

Aye, must be getting old.
TBH I wanted a comfy daily heavy enough to tow the track car with and this fits the bill just nicely.

You going to explain to the nice people that you've broken it already? :p
I haven't broken it. Just fitted parts incorrectly. And some of the electronic parts are on holiday.

Flol! Ah man, jealous of the heated seats though..!
I really wish they did a 3 door 406 saloon
Flol at you breaking it already! Looks sweet though! Needs those wheels you mentioned te other day
Well I fixed the bit I broke, and the car has fixed it's own electrics. The balance has been restored!

It clearly didn't like me attempting to modify it

It was called the 406 coupe......
I've been looking at these for years now, the execs look properly cushty, I'd fancy the 2.2 as well though
Which engine is in this? 2.0 110bhp?
Yeah man, it's so comfy! It's the 110 yeah. Mapped ofc
Awesome, handsome cars too, just need some finishing touches (i.e wheels and lowering).
Speaking of finishing touches
There's a very cheap 2.1 XUD Executive on a Bosch not far from me, very, very tempted. It's an estate as well, proper useful, just getting images of it lowered on black Challengers...
Looks nice Jonny! Surprising how much of a difference it has made!
