I've got a burst cv boot on my phs2 sedan. Bought a new boot but don't have a cone for fitting. Can I jus remove cv joint n slip boot onto shaft then build it back up

yup if it isn't a stretch boot, jsut knock the cv off the shaft and slip the new boot on, then tap the cv back on
