If your old MOT is still in date you can still drive after failing an MOT (under certain circumstances)
4 more Mondays until Xmas.
I work a 10 day week so the fact it's Monday is largely inconsequential.

well it failed and wont be driving it anymore 1 of the fails was a leaky rear cylinder so its not safe to drive anyway i wouldn't risk it i honestly thought it would pass but im looking at well over a grand to put everything right might as-well buy a new car
A grand! That's an expensive cylinder! Confused

Yep hence the 'certain circumstances' bit.

My fails are often stupid shit, like got a bulb out, ran out of washer fluid or high emissions.

So I MOT early, sort the fails out when I get back from the centre and then continue to drive it for the next week until I've got the time to go back and get the re-test.
So the loop-hole thing works well for me Smile

but if was shit like tyres, brakes or anything else It wouldn't move till it was fixed.
