You call that low? That's normal for me!
Lol thats not low at all, the needles not even on the bump stop Tongue Its only low when you start sucking air and loosing power / forced to drive level roads!
Pfft Ive been filled up by the AA twice now...

Only twice?
I had to get the bloke who made my exhaust come up the road with a can of petrol for me. Ran out 100 yards out of his garage! Lol
ive had to buy jerry cans about three times, filled up the rac once, oh, and i forgot to add, my fuel guage has a mind of its own, i ran out when it said i had a quarter of a tank!

Ah so what. It's a Peugeot. It was never going to work how it should haha
haha so true!
id never expect anything else from a pug tbh!

Im sure they didnt actually connect them up in the 1.8s. Mine is always low haha
I'm used to shitty gauges though. My old 106s fuel gauge used to move upto 3/4 of a tank when cornering. Go left all the time and you had a full tank Smile until I ran out once Sad
In the end didn't have a gauge that worked. Just guessed it on miles.
thats what we get for driving french cars eh haha
I been driving for 3 years almost and ran out once in mondeo cos gauge didn't work. I had it chugging for 10 miles and made it home. But next time it chugged twice and ran out just before petrol station. I've had so many close calls but always make it. It's exciting pushing it Smile

No. If you pay a oil giant the grand sum of about 80 quid, you can have a full tank....very briefly.
haha its almost like playing the lottery!
i like pushing it to the next services if im on a motorway trip! and even then, ill do a quick google to see if theres one off the motorway that won't cost me my spleen!
does that rev all the way to 7k?
Yeah thats normal for me but i have NEVER run out lol
procta Wrote:does that rev all the way to 7k?
Nah they go to 6250 iirc then bounce
You know they just guess at your fuel anyway. I have managed to get 55 litres in when on a quarter of a tank before.
i use to run out once a month ( normally the day before payday) became a running joke at work, havnt ran the d-turbo out yet but have been bloody close

lol nah mate i use to enjoy the 3 mile round trip with my petrol can lol
Ha ha normal for me to!! I don't want the extra weight of a tank full ha ha never ran out though
My fuel gauge doesn't work. I have to smack the dash to make it move!
wtf, i can get to work and back for a week on that. and have done.
