Right im about to run out and get some lowering springs for my Dt (as iv lowered the rear and it looks stupid,
Soooo they only have 30mm for a DT, No good
60mm gti springs to low
but they do have 55mm for 1.4/1.6/1.8 <<< will these be any good ??
Id get the 60mm GTi springs. DT is pretty much the same weight, maybe a bit less. If you get 55mm springs for a TU engine it will probably drop it a bit more, maybe 65mm.
Neee your help............or knee your help?
Can nobody spell today??
GTi engine is heavier than the DT.....you won't get a 60mm drop using 60mm GTi springs on a DT
Of you use the TU petrol ones though it will be on the floor!
Edit, FFS, what dan said!

hhhmm what about 35mm tu's?
dan
Puglove - if you want a bouncy as f*ck ride then drash on, using TU springs will result in the spring rates being a f*cking mile off! the ride will be horrible and it will handle like shit!
Go for the 60mm GTi ones IMO, it'll be fine, no such thing as too low unless the chassis is on the ground and you can't move!
need to get it over cyclones with 55 profile 60mm gtis willl be to low?
And the arse is looking very irish atm need to take it apart again lol
TU's out the window then lol
It will go over cyclones at 60mm, trust me, it'll be fine, mine is definitely lower than 60mm and doesn't touch with 195/50/15's or 195/45/16's depending on the wheels I have on!
It will be fine on a 60mm drop!
It'll be more like a 50-55mm drop anyways with the difference in engine weights
