Simple question. This isn't looking at a manufacturer who made 2 epic cars and instantly being the best, this is the manufacturer with the most good cars, a consistently good brand over the many many years of automotive history.

Personally, going to have to go with Volvo. Over the years they've made some epic cars, and they're always just.. well, good. I remember as a child my parents having a 200 series and it was just indestructible. Then you have the 850, v70r, c30 polestar etc etc..

I'll just leave these here..

I bloody love Volvos too, really want one
As much as i hate ford, they have constantly made some epic cars over the years, and all of them at reasonable prices, not many £30k plus cars

Anglia
cortina
capri
mk1 mexico
mk2 1800
mk3 xr3
mk4 rsturbo
mk4 cosworth
seirra cosworth & sapphire & XR4x4
RS200
Fiesta RST
mk1 RS focus
mk3 RS focus

Plus all the all the old school American stuff mustangs ETC

And there is prob some i forgot

Not to mention the transit!!
I have to say Ford also. Older Fords being MUCH better than the newer ones mind you.

Also, I LOVE Mark Huxleys Volvo. (The drifty one)
Volvo rules! their btcc car is lush!

Although i'd never have one, i'd probably say nissan. Very similar range to ford with less rust and more interesting top end cars.
Volvo 850 T5-R will be the next car on my drive Big Grin
Volvo is up there for me! They do make some bloody lovely car. Second to that, i would say Aston Martin. Don't think they have made a single car which i haven't thought was fantastic looking and sounding!
Short ratio box + 2L NA=win.

There's no brand that I like particularly, although I go by the shape of the car more. I like the classic saloon shape, not too fussy lines, a real "box" car if you will.
I've owned an 850 T5-r saloon and an 850 T5 estate (mapped) and they are brilliant.

Don't get an auto though, spoils it...

Spiffing game Sir
Ford

or

Lancia
ford all day
Good as in reliable would be the old BMC stuff, and companies that are still going id say ford, toyota and vauxhall mainly.
My dad had a V6 Alfa 75, sounded absolutely pornographic tbh.

I'm trying to think of a company that've just kept churning out good stuff, but it seems there's nowt that tickles my pickle much after 2000. Jaguar's new stuff is pretty epic, had a chat to the head vehicle engineer for the F-Type project, and heard him rev the tits off the V6S, one of the best sounding cars of all time, ever.

Nissan are up there for me, for having cars for the longest span of years I'd like to own.
Can't think of a bad Honda myself, maybe some are a bit dull but...

S600/S800
Beat
NS-X
Civic
Accord
Prelude
Cub
Fireblade
Blackbird
VTEC engines
4 wheel steering

Not to mention unbelievable reliability...
Honda are great, but only do one thing well, and that's scream your ass off at 9500rpm...

I love a good Honda, but I don't think I could live with one every day, it'd become a bit tiresome.
Hey Ed lets talk vtec noise
