Found this on the internet and reminded me of my old mk1 supersport but bright orange was way cooler in the 90's[Image: yry9yby5.jpg]
you cannot beat the retro car of the 70s,80s and 90s!
i saw the mk1 fiesta having a pop at a bmw in the classic pre 1993 class, at croft. the fiesta just say got the run on the bmw aswell.
can anyone see any moden shit lasting 20 years?
That's quite cool! My dads mate has about 30 mk1 fiestas. Many super sports cabs and more. He even had the orignal back up car Sierra cosworth touring car! Shame they're all just in storage rotting away
Keep spotting this down the road from my house, Its quite awesome. I'd love a Mk1/Mk2 zetec'd XRPoo but the prices are silly thesen days!

Do it mate and do what I did to my xr2... series 1 RST lump and 5spd box, you have to cut the chassis leg off the inside of the engine bay and put the other side of the wheel arch. Oh and be very careful in the wet as it will kill you lol... In the dry on a drag race..OMG !
Cut chassis leg of Confused Think ill just RST mine Wink. If I can get another shell I'm guna Xud it
meh at the OP tbh....

You just remove the chassis leg from engine side of the wheel arch and move to the wheel side of the wheel arch or you cannot fit the 5spd box

I'm with samass, i mean really, look at the state of that escort(? not sure, didn't want to look for too long in case my eyes shut down in protest). No offence Karl, i'm sure you love it and have done a great job restoring it, but f*ck me it's ugly.
No offence taken. People have different opinions

I am liking the mk2 exterior nowadays, I used to mk 1 only. You have to admit though the mk2 dashboard is f*cking horrible Smile
i seen a two lads with mk1 fiestas knocking about here, which is quite a rare sight up here for the classic/retro car scene.
i was offered a Tina mk5 estate for 500 quid 8 years ago, saw the car a few months back too on the road towing an old caravan.
if i had the cash at the time, id have snapped it up! i wouldnt be f*cking about with metros i tell you!
