Same as Ruans first one i think, pretty sure that came off a ovlov, would still make good power!
Bit small? This turbo is pretty much ideal for the XUD9
Good little turbo. Good price also
should do what? 160-175bhp and have nice spooling times
Should have hellish spooling times!
its the control of it thats hellish.
In some circumstances size isn't everything. Is what they produce/do is where it's at....just wish my girlfriend could see it that way
Exactly what my old setup was - that made 175hp and 303lb.ft torque...
One of the best turbos out there for feck all money, though that seems relatively average in price, I don't think I ever paid above £120 for a 2052v - all of mine were between £60-100...
Relatively easy to adapt though... The control CAN be done with a boost can, it's just not ideal, you've just got to be careful when initially setting up and driving that you don't cause chronic surge.
Volvo GTBs are always easy to spot, they all have electronic actuators...
Volvo seem to be the ones to aim at, lots of mercs have some great turbos but they carry "merc tax" like the bmw and audis :/
You looking into getting a different turbo Tom?
Im always looking, cant see it happening tbh, need headstuds, and im not sure i could be bothered with wedging a vnt down the back when they need shit loads of adjustement. So it would be over the box, and i havent got the funds to do that atm!
Another Gt2052V in Cornwall aswell! Beaut!
