Soooo if you read Hunters project thread (yes all 3 of you) you already know this, but if you dont, im the mystery buyer that bought max's 205. He named it Joey and im sticking with it, because its awesome!

So yeah mid last week i decided not to re tax hunter because i was getting 205, so i whipped the engine out quick to go in Joey!



I then spent a while transferring loads of little bits over from Joeys old engine onto hunters and then stuck it in, giggidy.



And then we're upto today, so this evening i done some water lines and majority of the electrics, then i dropped my brand new Galaxy S4 on the floor and smashed the screen, so quickly threw a shit fit blamed the car and went home.



Aaaaand messy workspace.


That is all.

It doesn't feel right seeing him with someone else

New engine, and onto his new home.

Its going ok, only spent an hour there this evening then lost my rag really, but tomorrow is another day and i'll spend a few hours in the afternoon up there aswell.

I lost my rag a bit with the 2.1


But didnt want to damage it...so karate kicked the door of the green turd...slipped off due to mud and rain, door not even slightly damaged...ankle in pain.

I'm really happy it's gone to a good home and the progress is so quick so I will be keeping a very close eye on things!

But honestly Tom, I think you'll do one engine change, love the 205 and not have the go to put another engine in hunter; cut your losses and sell the sigma for a fraction less an admit a small loss for an awesome gain

true story, once you drive a 205, 306 just feels like the fat out of shape version lol

As I have said really glad to see this car is still on the forum.

So your dropping the engine out your sigma into the 205 with the td04 on? Whens the plan to have it on the road?

max turned this into a good car, its nice to see the trend is been followed on! keep going!

Be on the road next week.

Hunter will be getting an engine, it was no hassle to take it out, will be buying a complete lump to just plug in and go.

I was so close to messaging Max and saying I'd come down for it, I got quotes for transport though and renting a transporter plus paying for diesel would have been like £250

So glad it stayed on here, one of my favourite cars on here

I paid 150quid to have it delivered to me in Cornwall. 220miles and a days work. God knows how the bloke made any money like that, but he was a top guy and had a right old chat with him when he came down.

My clutch didnt slip in the 306 so max must have had some serious power on the go!

If you manage to get the power down you will 0-60 in 6 seconds. Oh I miss it so much...

yeah 28psi is nothing, mine went off the gauge

I dont have a gauge, and i found 2 boost leaks since taking the engine out, its safe to safe im f*cking excited for the first drive.

I thought Joey was a he? Hes in safe hands though, got another update on the way, nearly done aha
