just wondering if it's possible to remove a windscreen. Obviously without breaking it and refitting it on my own car.
Frostys got a windscreen in a car hes breaking in good nick
Mines got a massive crack through the centre.

So yeah has anyone attempted this and what sealer would you use. (If its possible)
Remove it with an accelerator cable like a saw, you have to drill through the rubber to put the cable through initially, then go to a windscreen specialist to have it fitted?
It's easier to fit one than remove one although the proper sealant is really expensive can cost around £100ish for a tube
VS the £70 it'll cost to have it replaced on your insurance?
Ok brilliant. Shud be no problem getting it out then.
But are they going to want to fit a second hand windscreen?
