Looks clean for year pal, let me guess you got it for a bargain price like the rest of the cars you bought recently lol
awesome!

wants a turbo though...and antilag. yum.
Oh my.

First dibs if you decide to sell. Amber has always wanted one!
Crying out for cosworth engine!

Nice motor.
Yes! Mk3's and 4's have gained a good following now without the daft prices of the Mk1's and 2's. Tidy it up, keep on top of the rust and you can't loose. One of my favorate old Fords happens to be a mk3, the RS1600i

So weather was nice Today so thoughT I'd sort the passenger rear brakes ouT. Was greeted with this. Sure something's melted as the rubber on cylinder had half gone

Good work I hate building up brake shoes
Defo needed doing they were shagged
looking at the old shoes/cylinder, I can see the linings detached and off the shoe, the brake fluid from the leaking cylinder has attacked the brake linings---turning them to sludge..............
would also suggest you re-pack the wheel bearings as the grease looks like its seen better days ??

not many mk 3's about, so well done.
Put this on the rollers!
I thought they had all turned to rust. I had a sunburst red XR3 back in the day, with the good ol peco bb4. Talk about nostalgic.
