see links at bottom of thread for handy diagrams and full explanations on how the system operates
On my dturbo the left hand fan as you look at the car is the one that comes on when i get upto temp. Thats drivers side to save confusion.
so right hand one as we look at the front would be A/C?!
mine both come on with aircon
I dont have ac but i do have two fans but never seen the right one work. Im just saying what i do know so we can guess the rest lmao
Look at a Rallye set up as it doesn't have aircon. Sure my lft one is missing
which left?!!
As cully said, air con models have both come on low speed for aircon.

Weirdly if you look at the car from a different angle it can be on the right.
righto.

well no matter. managed to get both fans on front. was considering one either side for space, but no need
Can the fans be wired together so they work at once, i.e. on a non air con model. Will need something like that for my beast when its finished.

Has anybody done it and how do you do it Huh
if concerned about temps/etc...be worthwhile getting more efficient slim lines and setting up a switch inside to put them on permanently...thats what most do
found this very useful link...

the HDI fan relays are controlled by the ECU not a fan controller

Ive put up drawings for this system before
