306oc - Peugeot 306 Owners Club & Forum

Hello everyone,
I have recently just bought a 306 phase 1 Dturbo and wanted abit of a project as I love the cars and pugs in general!
The car is black and in not bad condition to be fair,its done 128k and still runs sweet and the body is solid! its had a few things done to it already and I just want to do more. The things that are done to it at the moment are: Straight through sportex exhaust, bosch pump, turbo turned upto 17/18psi, uprated springs shocks and droplinks, Braided brakelines, tinted rear windows, gti-6 seats and black cyclone alloys, no back seats in (converted to van still have backseats though), debadged front.
There are a few things that need doing though before I start any serious modifications, I need to lower the torsion bar on rear as had a recent rear axle and sitting a little to high compared to the front. Then I need to quote a price up for the roof and bonnet to be resprayed as the roof has laquer peel and bonnet has a few chips and odd scratch.
After that is sorted I have a list of things I want to get:
-Strut braces (anyone know best type for phase 1?)
-Twinpass FMIC
-Nissen radiator
-Maybe another set of alloys (Idea's anyone that look smart on phase 1, 4 stud and no bigger than 16'' alloys)
Then after these have been done I will start adding more things to my list to do! Spent all day today cleaning,polishing etc etc!

Looks very nice and tidy! With regards to the wheels, instead of getting new ones, why not paint the clones silver or a lighter colour? IMO, Black wheels never work on a black car. They just sort of blend in.

Cheers mate! I will probably have look atgetting them graphite grey or another? Not sure yet and not the main of my worries atm though want to get the torsion bar done this weekend . Will post some more pics up soon of roof etc

Just got some pictures of the roof that needs a respray because of laquer peel and driverside sideskirt needs respraying as scratched!

Very smart ph1 you have mate! Should have it done within the next two months aswell as the strut braces and then save up to get the fmic,piping,radiator and fan all together then put on hopefully before the end of the year!

Cheers. Yeah I went this year but was had my S16 as I didn't finish the d turbo in time

There is no side skirt on that car it's just the sill that's scratched, if you do get sideskirts it will hide the scratch and make the car look far better, nice car though, silver cyclones would look the part

Bought off gumtree mate

Just bought gti6 rear axle and strut brace will put up pics soon!

Changed the speakers in the door panels..

And decided to debadge the 'peugeot' and '306' badge off the rear as I had some spare time today, slowly getting there with the d turbo!

Servicing the pug today and then next week sending off to get central locking sorted as its playing up! Then its ready for the gti6 parts to be put on! will upload more pics soon!

What do you think is wrong with the central locking?

What gti6 bits you putting on?

fix the central locking yourself, it will be broken wires in between the door and car . .

Well when I bought it the driverside only opens the driverside and the passenger door opens all and then recently when I was driving it decided to lock and unlock itself, plus the driverside speaker is dodgy so most probably broken wires, but I'm not good with wiring so ill leave that to someone else haha! Just bought a gti6 for spares so put the rear axle on and it has some strut braces so ill change them over then whatever other bits I can find for it ill put on

Finally getting down to work haha, got the gti6 getting delivered this week for stripping parts/spares, the central locking was down to the driverside central locking mechanism and activator being broke so bought a new one just got to fit it, got someone coming to look at the wiring behind the dash for the driverside speaker this week, so should be busy over the next weekends!

Got the gti6 today for spares as its misfiring and one of the valves is dented slightly and already started stripping it will be selling a few things off it aswell as I won't need everything just leave a message and ill let you know if iv got it!
Will have it stripped by next weekend

Been slow working on the gti6 because of rain and the garage full of coaches but everything I want will be off this week then the d turbo will be on the ramps and some parts for sale off the gti6 ill put another thread for that soon with pics!
