Had my son wanting to help me work on my car today so thought I'd share a couple of pics of a future petrol head
Man handling the breaker bar
Out with the wire brush cleaning up the track rod threads ready for tracking.
Thought that was Jonny for a second

Sure Samass says something along them lines.
Good work mate. Health and Safety probably don't let him learn about fixing and making stuff in DT at school.

This. My old man was a mechanic from the day i was born and i went to work with him every saturday from when i was 5 till about 12 even sometimes after that just because i enjoyed it.
They're good skills to learn for later life and the skills can be applied to many other things. Gets them learning how to use their hands and thinking about how things work, no bad thing :-)
Yea please tell me there was a stand under there when you had the wheel off! Otherwise i agree i wish id had the oppurtunity to work on cars when i was younger!
Axle stand under and the wheel sat under the sill, I never trust only jacks!
Dont lie, that was last week...
