Just wondering how much Halford paint is with trade discount?

Also what useful stuff can you buy cheap?
You don't get much off paint.

My best saving I've found is the round tins of Gungum, From £4 odd to 76p.

Bulbs/wipers/filters (consumables) are the best. Certain tools work out cheap.

Always remember trade discount doesn't apply to items on offer.
So far I haven't found the price to be that much better
Bulbs....things like brake lights end up as 49p on trade....like £3 floor price lol!

Tbh I use mine every time I buy stuff there and everything seems to have a different discount, there isn't a set percentage afaik.

Exactly what I've found Smile
Ok nice one thanks. Borrowing my grandads trade discount becuase I need lots of paint ready for fcs. Things are slowly coming together. Just got to get painting things now Smile
I swear i paid 5 someing for paint instead of 7.99 on trade! If your buying a few its worth it.
The discount varies because its what it says, a trade card not a discount card. Think i had some bulbs from about £13 down to £3 something.
Any way to wangle a trade card for the average Joe?
There's certain percentages off of everything, the biggest savings are on Halfords own brand stuff. You get a 10% discount on paint

Generally you need to be in the trade, or you need to know someone Wink A while back you could get a card by showing that you bought a high volume of parts (I don't think they allow this anymore, someone correct me if I'm wrong) so you could go in with a wad of receipts and bills for car parts and they've give you a card on the spot.
Yeah, it was if you had enough receipts from the last 3 months. They don't do it anymore. Best bet if you have no qualifications, is to blag it and say you're starting your own business up. Or know someone that works there...

Does sometimes work with things on offer. My 150 piece tool set was £99 down from £199 and then £95 on trade
Any idea how much brake fluid comes down too??
Got a set of braided lines to fit on the alfa
If you go for Halfords own, quite a lot. Can't remember as it was a while ago. At a guess, 40%? Other brands obviously not as much
Shelf price for the fluid was just over £7
Till price with trade card was £1.97!!!

It's only because they rip you off so much to begin with...
I'd avoid Halfords for most things really now I've looked around at prices:
