Hi guys,
I've recently purchased a 306 and the radio is asking for a code. I've tried the basics and have now managed to lock it out so it just says "4 Error".
Having google'd around, I can see a variety of suggestions all which don't seem to work. If I turn it off, hold down the band button and turn it back on everything kicks into gear but beeps constantly and then within a minute or two locks out again. (Having read online this is because the radio isn't unlocked fully)
I assume I can take the battery off for a minute or two which will reset the radio so it asks for a code again but I'm not sure what to enter in there.
I did find something online (http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=64063) which suggests the syntax for the code is taken from the markings on the radio itself however this didn't seem to work either, but I think it's because mine is a different type than suggested in the link.
This is the radio I have, although it doesn't seem to have any markings on the face:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this working?
