Does anyone know a good place to get the transponder code and/or key cut code without paying massive money for it. There was a guy who did both code cheap, i used him to get the code to use on pp2000 on my old car, but can't seem to find him now.
Hi guys, I found a place. They work out the transponder (IMMO) code and key cut code for $15 (aka £10), pretty fair price I thought. Google pintovin and you should find it. Hope that helps someone.
Im after a transponder code for mine, do you no the website? I cant seem to find it
http://www.peugeotcodes.com

Speak to this guy. Ive used him several times and he's very prompt and not been wrong yet.

Just to say; I have used him too. Had a reply with my code within 15 minutes Smile
Thanks for reply bit i went on pintovin.com and they sent me a code from my vin number just got to try it tomorrow to see if it works, if it doesnt i shall try that one

The code cost me £6 and he replied within 10 mins, i hope it works lol
What Niall said. I recently used him on Nialls advice, worked perfectly. Programmed two keys to a hdi like a dream, both used keys, one from another car.

The story that you need to buy a new key isnt true!

Really? Did you do anything differently or just the usual procedure? May have just been lucky Wink
Where did you get the new keys from? Could do with an extra one for mine
New ones from Pug come to about £110. You could try a second hand one but rarely do they program to different cars from what they were originally programmed to. Hence my surprise when Darren said he managed it.
Tbh i cant see why they wouldnt unless they were broken...Nothing about the key gets programmed, not from a central locking point of view anyway...its just a tranmitter..so why would a working used one be any different to a new one..

The immobilier chip has a set code which the car learns so that chip can be used over and over again because the code never changes but the CL chip works the other way round and I'm not quite sure on the ability of the pick up ring to program the new code from the new car to the new CL chip.
Ive never seen anything concrete saying that you can't reprogram the CL chip but that seems to be the general idea. Ive never had any luck doing it Sad
I dont think it programs anything..the other key wasnt even in the car, just pressed the button...
Stuff paying that much, surely you can pick one up off ebay or somewere
Once you got the new transponder code did you take it too a dealer to be reprogramed are is it possible to do it with diagnostic computer?
You can only do it with Peugeot Planet. There are a few people on this forum who own it including my self, Darren an Cully who would do it for a drink I'm sure. Where a bouts are you? (Update your profile with your location. Makes these things easier Wink
How do i add my location to my profile? Im in sheff, a local peugeot specialist quoted me £50!
User CP in the top left of the page then edit profile and fill out all the bits there Smile

Im no where near you and don't know of anyone who is with PP. If you go on Peugeot Forums, they have a register of people over the country who have it who mostly do work for a drink or two.
Ok. thanks
Just tried that code at my local peugeot specialist what pintovin sent me and they said it was wrong code but still charged mi 22 quid the robbing twats, not sure what to do now dont want to waste any more money if its not giong to work
Got the right code now but no one still seems to able to help me :/
Just to let you no i finally found someone with pug planet and he resynced the key to my central locking with pug planet. Took 2 mins and only charged me a tena
