Well its the time to now get my bosch fitted to my car so i am looking for a timing belt kit,

Previously got mine on ebay but cant seem to find the seller,

Anyone know wheres cheapest for a decent one gates etc

Sure it is the just the D8 bit that changes etc
thats a good price. i gave £85 for my Gates kit but it did come with a waterpump. my engine is a 1995 1.9TD

I paid £40 for a skf kit from euro car parts and water pump was about £15
This thread came up at exactly the right time, as i am about to buy a belt kit for when i go to norwich to get my Bosch fitted! lol ThumbsUp
Just so you know there's 2 different gates kits, one of them have a different backing plate on the idler pulley and it won't fit.

Just rang euro car parts and thats what they gave me
Meant how do they compare
Skf are good, some of the gates kits come with skf bearing, or usually ina bearing.

Well its been on for 7-8,000miles no issues not much to say about it really it dose the job its supposed to, and for sake of £40 i dont mind having to replace it in 20,000miles if needs be will last alot longer tho i bet
