Just a question on pipercross air filters I have used these before in my Subaru and they seem very good no oil deposit etc, what's the opinions on putting one in my 2.0 Hdi ?..
this a replacement panel??

I have heard and worked on hdi's with flow meter issues on pod style filters
the HDI air filter is already incredibly good and many stage 2/3 cars are still running with standard paper filters. It makes little to no difference putting in an aftermarket one.
FYI: Mcmods boys did loadsa tests on a rolling road...basically showed that a standard airbox with a clean filter is still best route...they got a 1% increase in power top end with a expensive aftermarket jobby
Right okay a standard replacement it is then!
Ta all!
The filter and box IMHO is of no restriction until past stage 3 - other parts however are debatable.
