I know a lot of these are seen as 'chavvy' but I want an OEM-looking one much like you get on virtually all new cars.

I'm just wondering if the signal needs to be amplified, and if so, how? Can I hook it up to a switched live on my standard headunit?

Just trying to get rid of the wonkey item currently fitted, as it looks terrible! It will be colour-coded in.

I think it would look good, but not at the front where our ariels sit, would have to be towards the back
