Alright guys, im a bit depressed with my car atm, it drives well and it good fun to drive on a winding b/a road BUT
Im bored of it and need some CHEAP mods to do to it.
i must emphasise the cheap as i am a student with the income of a dizzying £60 a week who is going uni in September (need the money for beer/books)
Any ideas guys?
heres a pic of my car at the moment.

lowereing will improve it a great deal
forgot to add i enjoy having a nice ride after 9 months of driving a classic car with knackered suspension, plus i have to drive over 14 speedbumps a day grrr
a properly lowered car doesn't lose much of the comfort, speed bumps aren't an issue until you go lower than 60mm
Smoothing and painting various bits. With some time and patience it can be done in the cheap (within reason). And can transform a car.
is it a dturbo?!

lots of tuning can be done with just spanners and know how
Interesting wheels
Keep a look out on the bay, sometimes a great deal can pop up
What kind of mods are we talking about; engine, suspension, bodywork..?
be helpful to know what engine we working with too...
60mm drop would be the best place to start Big Grin
Was my D Turbo lowered as standard? I don't think I've ever seen such a 'high' 306 or does it have tiny wheels/tyres?
I think the tyres are the wrong profile....
yeah id guess 45 profiles on 15" rims
45s?!

Look at the front wheel!!! I would say 14s with 185/60s!!
What wheels are they? I really like them

^this..
And as said, it'd be good to know what engine it is.
the back looks skinny though
Reg check says 1.4
eeeek.

cheap springs. drop the back.
save for a dturbo

Or just save for a dturbo and invest in the springs then
