Looking to get another dumpvalve for the HDI this time. Yes i know, there pointless bla bla but there just cool end off.

Is it the same setup as the Dturbo?

Dumpvalve, T-peice into airline and a microswitch and EGR valve?
The same bar the t-peice yes. youll need a 25mm pipe welded on the inlet elbow as theres no round hoses to cut to fit the t-peice (unless you have a FMIC)

Also you might need a resovior in the vac line as the HDi vac pump isnt as strong as the TD one
Cheers i know about the elbow i used to have one and i got rid, typical so will get it done with a boost gauge takeoff.

Not heard about a resovior before tho. What does that intail?
Is it right that you can only use the twin piston ones ? .. Think dec had a problem with his because it was a single piston DV ?
You can use a single piston but it will cause an air leak on idle, tbh not much of an issue, no worse than a dodgy maf sensor.

For a resovior use a very small plastic fuel filter (with the filter removed) in the vaccume line just before the solenoid. Means the vaccume works a little quicker and you get better dumps
i thought they helped with lag changing gear? if not i wont bother getting one Big Grin
That's right, they help create lag when changing gear. Why you'd want that though...
