doing a bit of late night reading and researching as you do at half 11 at night and stumbled across some info on a Peugeot 505. was just wondering if anyone has seen them before they actually look really nice and retro!!

theres a guy there who has a peugeot graveyard, its where i got my fibreglass bonnet from.
its a farm with a big barn surrounded by old pugs, theres loads of 505s, 205 gtis, 405s, 309s, a couple of gti6 i spotted in there
all left rotting in a field
the 505 came with a turbo diesel engine yes, was the predecessor to the xud9, very good in its time, they just improved it to create the xud we all know and love
reckon he sells them or just keeps to die? such a shame
id happily not eat for a year or leave the house just to spend every penny restoring one but i bet parts are like rocking horse shit to get

hes yippeekayay over on the '6 forum. cant see any of them are ever going to be used for anything so it could just be a case of offer him money, a decent 505 and loads of parts could be yours. you never know with car horders though, sometimes get really funny about parting with them even if all there doing is slowly turning into dust
ahhh im not on the 6 forum. fancy dropping him an inbox and finding out the script then pm me and let me know
be much appreciated

even better haha
definatly got the retro cool factor, but it does look way better in estate form. a chronic boosted 505 would be awesome
no i like the normal looking ones
estate would be cool and practical but salon just look full on badass!! slap some banded wheels on to give it stance and some lows sorted!!
That was the first Peugeot I ever went in. A pale blue 505 1.9d that my parents were using as a minicab.
My old man had a 505 2.2 GTI for about 3 months, bought it to replace his SD1 but never really liked it so he sold it and bought another SD1. It's funny that back then you could get the 505 or SD1 for a few hundred quid but now your looking at thousands...

Where?!?!?!?!?!
Parents had an estate when I were a wee lad (can only of been about 10), although that was a Peugeot 50, as the badge had snapped
Can't get over how bad ass these look!! Rear end of them is just awesome fronm a side view
There's a minted red 505 saloon 1.9TD down the road from me, looks awesome. Always been tempted to put a note on his windscreen.

the rally 505 was an awesome piece of kit

Theres a GTI on Ebay for over 4k at the moment! I'll get a pic of the one local to me sometime, Owners an antique dealer and had it for years.
