The work that has been put into this and how well everything has been done is brilliant Smile Shame about the set back but I'm sure you'll get it sorted and have a fantastic car after.

Fair play. Looking good, how far from running is it now?

Still got the racetractor? Wouldn't be surprised to hear you do, would be hard to part from something you'd put so much into and hard to value it.

Maybe today.

As soon as this is running and on the road the Racetractor will be up for sale officially.

It's just chugging along working hard for me for now

Mine was the same, awful at mid-range, once you get some hours on the engine it'll help. Have you got the blower plumbed in?

Yeah been told yours was same...guna run round field tomorrow.

All plumbed. But vanes not operating as yet. Guna jam them half close tomorrow and buzz around.

See if some heat and boost help things

Indeed.

Needs finishing obviously.

Needs must as I wanted turbo as high as possible for ease of working on/access etc.

Will need a tiny nick taken out of bonnet bracing.

Not sorted limp yet...Ruan over with pp2k tomorrow hopefully as mine not working....and he has science.

Now I know what's what.... I'd definitely consider dropping a 16v head on any 8v HDi before considering a turbo upgrade.

Couple things done today...feels like we are nearing the road testing!
Air filter/intake setup done, minus two jubilees.
Aux tensioner replaced - very noisy.
All arch liners and splash guards trimmed and fitted.
Washer bottle 'trimmed' and fitted.

Need gauges, service rear brakes couple other things and limp mode fix obviously...and ready to go

MOT was supposed to be today... But at a time I wish not to recall, I was beat by a rear caliper last night... Seems a slider was bent.

So rebuilt a spare and slapped that on today.

Few bits tidied (cable ties) and battery made safe.

Also fix washer bottle leak.

MOT is tomorrow.......  Confused

Oh yeah... Limp mode sorted. Software issue that I don't and probably never fully will understand. Something like trying to run Windows 10 on an old windows XP computer...
Stock 90bhp map on it so it can be driven to MOT station
