Project number one - Will - 23-08-2014

So I picked up a 306 HDi DTurbo in moonstone blue (really does look good) with 88,000 miles, 00 reg and the only modification (at present!) is a flushed bonnet and grille. To start the project I cleaned up the body and began the cleaning of the interior. Gradually going to update as it slowly transforms Itwasntme

Looks alright that.

If you put afterwards then they'll appear without people having to click on them.

RE: Project number one - Will - 24-08-2014

RE: Project number one - Daniel306 - 24-08-2014

There is a button at the top of the reply window, click it then just paste the link in the box

RE: Project number one - Will - 24-08-2014

RE: Project number one - Daniel306 - 24-08-2014

It's not hard. Tongue Also, not sure I'd use my full name on a PB account but that's up to you. I think you copied the wrong link though lol.

RE: Project number one - Will - 25-08-2014

Thanks! Every time I tried it wouldn't work, that's pretty embarrassing Confused Name doesn't bother me much, between fb and any other social network but you're right, prob smarter not to.

RE: Project number one - Will - 31-08-2014

Driving in the rain wondering why my wiper wasn't moving, got out to find this
[Image: DSC_0042_zps55lfiol2.jpg]

due to be replaced although it doesn't look bad without the wiper! if I tidied it up properly
[Image: DSC_0041_zpszydvhi1x.jpg]

Quick clean up of the seats and door cards and it was looking sharper, hoping to get some mats soon

RE: Project number one - MisterGTR - 01-09-2014

I want to hear more about the Citreon DS. My all time favourite car that we owned as a family. Would love to get one of those one day! Need to get a place with a heated garage for it to live first!

RE: Project number one - maxlee - 01-09-2014

defo need to put up some DS pics

RE: Project number one - Will - 09-09-2014

Tied up with endless other jobs at the moment, got time to remove the spring from the clutch pedal today

can someone tell me what the switch is for beside the clutch pedal? just curious

RE: Project number one - Adam-m-h - 10-09-2014

I believe it sends a signal to the ECU that the clutch has been activated and fueling is reduced.
I may be wrong tho.

RE: Project number one - Midnightclub - 10-09-2014

It's so that the revs don't drop to idle between gear changes, you'll notice they 'hang'

RE: Project number one - Will - 10-09-2014

Ahh, I'm also told it's an old citroen trick, I did notice alright but didn't put two and two together

RE: Project number one - Will - 18-05-2015

College has me very busy and the 306 is off the road until I can get it registered here, 2.0 HDi 110 Xsara to keep me moving for the momentt. In the mean time I picked up a set of a c5 "steelies", I'm loving how light they are. They need a good clean up though. Well worth the €40 I paid for them.

They will be getting the best of care! Thinking of painting them 4q9 bronze to go with the moonstone body.

Want to see those wheels on in bronze, sounds ideal.

Nothing but French cars at home, the DS is a fantastic drive, a real headturner

The bronze and moonstone blue should make for a nice combo, once I get these exams done they'll be getting a full refurb.
